The SQL Services WHM home screen button provides you with many services needed to handle and deal with your servers SQL operations.

Additional MySQL Access Hosts

You can allow your users to access MySQL databases on your web server, or a remote MySQL server that you have set up.

Change MySQL User Password

You can change passwords for a database‘s user using this feature. This feature doesn’t require the old password, so it can be used if a password is forgotten or compromised

Database Map Tool

This feature gives server owners the ability to confer database ownership to cPanel users, as long as the user and database exist.

Disable Database Prefix

Databases are prefixed with the cPanel account’s username by default. You can disable database prefixing using this feature.

MySQL Root Password

You can set a root MySQL password using this feature. No root password is set by default, so you must ensure that a secure password is used because an attacker would have access to any database associated with your server.  

Reset Local MySQL Root Password

This feature can reset your local MySQL root password if it were to be lost or compromised.

Repair a MySQL Database

You can attempt to fix a database that is having issues by examining and repairing table usin this feature.

Setup Remote MySQL Server

This feature allows you to put your MYSQL databases on a remote server. Busy servers or servers with large databases are recommended to use separate server for MySQL.

Show MySQL Processes

This feature displays a list of every process that are currently running on any database in your server.

Restoring Database Grants

This feature allows you to resolve issue that a user may be experiencing difficulty accessing databases.
