How to install a SSL Certificate and Intermediate Certificates in Apache

Follow the below step to install a SSL certificate and Intermediate certificate in Apache:

  1. Copy your SSL certificate and certificate bundle file to your Apache server
  2. Locate the directives that follow in your httpd.conf or ssl.conf file:
    SSLCertificateFile
    SSLCertificateKeyFile
    SSLCertificate(only if Apache Version <2.4.8)
    SSLCACertificatePath( only if Apache Version 2.4.8+)
    Save your configuration then restart Apache
