User Level Filtering

What is User Level Filtering?

cPanels User Level Filtering gives you the ability to create mail filters for specific addresses. User Level Filtering is typically used for discarding spam, redirecting mail, or moving messages to a program.

Creating a New Filter

Follow the below steps to create a new filter:

  1. Select the User Level Filtering icon in the Email section of the cPanel interface
  2. Select Manage Filters next to the account you wish to give a filter
  3. Select Create a new Filter
  4. Enter the filter name in the Filter Name box
  5. Select the settings you wish within the Rules and Actions Box
  6. Select Create to complete the creation of the filter

Edit a Filter

Follow the below steps to edit a filter:

  1. Select the User Level Filtering icon in the Email section of the cPanel interface
  2. Select Edit next to the filter you wish to edit
  3. Make your modifications
  4. Select Activate to save the changes

Delete a Filter

Follow the below steps to delete a filter:

  1. Select the User Level Filtering icon in the Email section of the cPanel interface
  2. Select Delete
  3. Confirm your deletion
