How to install an Intermediate Certificate in IIS 7

Follow the below steps to install an Intermediate Certificate in Microsoft IIS 7:

  1. Select Start
  2. Select Run…
  3. Enter “mmc” then select OK
  4. Select File in the Console1 window
  5. Select Add/Remove Snap-in
  6. Select Computer Account in the Certificates snap-in
  7. Select Next
  8. Select Local Computer in the Select Computer window
  9. Select Finish
  10. Select OK in the Add or Remove Snap-in window
  11. Select + to expand the folder in the Console1window
  12. Right-click Intermediate Certification Authorities
  13. Hover over All Tasks and select Import
  14. Select Next in the Certificate Import Wizard window
  15. Select Browse to locate the certificate file
  16. Change the file extension filter to PKCS #7 Certificates (*.spc;*.p7b) in the Open window
  17. Select the *_lis_internediate.p7b file
  18. Select Open
  19. Select Next in the Certificate Import Wizard window
  20. Select Place all certificates in the following store
  21. Select Browse
  22. Select Intermediate Certification Authorities in the Select Certificate Store window
  23. Select OK
  24. Select Next in the Certificate Import Window
  25. Select Finish
  26. Select Ok
  27. Close the Console1 Window
  28. Select No
