ServerPronto Dedicated Hosting Announces New Setup Assistance Program
November 16, 2009 - ServerPronto, the company known for its affordable dedicated server packages, has announced a Free 'Setup Assistance' program for all new customers.
The Setup Assistance program will give new customers access to ServerPronto server administrators for free for the first 30 days to assist with many of the standard server setup tasks.
"ServerPronto Dedicated Hosting is a self-managed dedicated server offering. However, we understand some of our customers may need some assistance or direction in getting basic services configured and operational on their dedicated server,' according to Octavio Diaz, COO of ServerPronto.
'This program will be especially helpful to those who are venturing into the world of self-managed hosting for the first time and have little to no experience with it,' Diaz explained.
The program covers a range of services. Setup Assistance program technicians can be contacted to help new customers with:
- Setting up FTP connectivity
- Configuring Domain Name Services hosting
- Enabling Website hosting on their server
- Configuring POP3/IMAP/SMTP email services
- SQL database hosting
- And more...
The support technicians will not develop or upload content to websites, but they will help to walk new customers through the process of getting their new dedicated server up and running, allowing the customer to become comfortable and familiar with their new systems with ease.
